Skill Builder: Carbine Shooting from Unconventional Positions

This skill-builder focuses on effective deployment of a carbine from non-traditional positions. Supine, modified prone, urban prone, low-profile and improvised positions are covered at length. Movement into and out of positions is addressed along with sighting techniques. Students will work through a series of dry and live-fire drills to enhance their abilities beyond static range shooting.

Student Requirements

  • Serviceable carbine (At, AK, SCAR, etc)
  • Minimum of 3 magazines w/ pouches to carry them
  • Sling
  • Approximately 300 rounds of ammunition

NOTE: This is NOT an introductory shooting class. Students must have attended a Defensive Carbine I or similar course PRIOR to attending this class.
